Diamond Halloween Card

Been thinking of various things to share with you and I’ve decided to share with you today:

Diamond Shape Card

There are three main diamond shape cards, so I will show you one of them today…. this is my funky Halloween diamond card!

So here the pics of all three shapes and one where the card is closed and finished with a cute ribbon.

Ok let’s look at the basic tools:

  •  Cardstock
  • Printed Digi Images
  • Scoring Board & Bone Folder
  • Colouring Pens
  • Pencil
  • Double Sided Tape
  • 3D Foam Pads
  • Scissors
  • Cutting Board

OK, time to play…. We begin with a piece of cardstock measuring approx. 4" X 12"

Now using your pencil and ruler, mark on the back of your cardstock, at 6" on each of the landscape sides (the long sides).

Now using our bone folder and score board (or you can just fold) we can score and fold each side to the centre line and to meet in the middle as forming a triangle, bit like a paper aeroplane type shape.

Unfold your cardstock and turn your card stock around to fold the other end and do the same as above and unfold.

It will look like this when open:

Now we can open up the card and we can see four triangles around the centre diamond.   We next have to push in the smaller diamonds around the centre diamond, now it looks a bit like a Christmas cracker and it should look like this:

Now we have the basic shape you can decorate as you wish, I have used one of the new Halloween digis it's sooooo cute it's Peak A Boo Pumpkin and embellishments and papers from my stash!

Here’s some pictures of my finished card…..

 Love Jo xxx
