A Box Full of Digi Love

Hi Everyone
I'm a huge fan of digi stamps but I often don't want to take the time to print out the images when I'm in the stamping zone so I like to have some images printed out ahead of time so I can grab them and go.

Today I'd like to share a fun tutorial on how to create a box for your Digital Delight digi stamps.
I have this on my desk so it's easy to grab some images that I've printed.
Let's get started!

Supplies you'll need:
Stamps:
Digital Stamp - Cuddle Sends Luv

Paper:

Box
(1) Red card stock 12" x 10 1/2"

Side of Box Panels
(2) Brown card stock 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
(2) Patterned paper 3 1/4" x 3/1/4"

Front, Back and Top Panels of Box and Lid
(3) Brown card stock 3 3/8" x 4 7/8"
(3) Patterned paper 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"

Lid for Box
(1) Red card stock 6" x 5"

Panel for flap on lid
(1) Brown card stock 4 7/8" x 1 3/8"
(1) Pattern paper 4 3/4" x 1 1/4"

Divider for inside of Box
(1) Red card stock 11 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Accessories:
Scallop edge punch
Score Tape
Scissors
Bone folder
Paper Trimmer

Step 1:
With your 12" x 10 1/2" red card stock score the 12" side at 3 1/2" and 8 1/2".
On the 10 1/2" score at 3 1/2" x 7"

Step 2:
From the 10 1/2" side cut along the score lines up to the next score line. See photo for example. You will make 4 cuts on the 10 1/2" side of the card stock.

Step 2A:
Add adhesive. See photo for adhesive placement. Note that you are adding adhesive to four of the 3 1/2" squares.

Step 3:
With your 6" x 5" red card stock score the 6" side at 1" and 4 1/2".
Add adhesive to the 1" section. See picture for adhesive placement.

Step 4:
With your 11 1/2" x 3 1/2" red card stock score the 11 1/2" side at 1 1/2", 5", 6 1/2" and 10"
Add adhesive to the 1 1/2" section and adhere to the other end of the card stock making sure to overlap the flaps.

Step 4A:
See below photo for image of completed step 4.

Step 5:
Adhere panels.
Step 6:
Add panels to the box. See photo for panel placement. Also note which panel is the front of the box.

Step 7:
Add panels to the lid. See photo for panel placement. The 1" strip does not have a panel as it will be attached to the inside of the box.

Step 8:
Adhere box together. Keep in mind that you don't want to see a seam when you look at the front of the box. This picture shows the front panel of the box facing down on the table.

Step 8A:
Picture of box put together.

Step 9:
Next we will adhere the lid to the box. Take note of the placement of the adhesive. We will attached the lid to the inside of the box.

Step 10:
Add adhesive to the divider.

Step 11:
Attached the divider to the inside of the box.

Step 12:
Decorate and fill with your favorite Digital Delight digi stamps! I've used the Cuddly Sends Luv digi stamp along with some paper flowers to decorate the box. I've also added some text in the middle of the heart that states "Digital Delight digi stamps!" I also used a Basic Grey magnetic disc to hold the flap down. You could just as easily use a piece of Velcro.

Print off some digi's and you're all set for the next time you are ready to create some cards.

Hope you have fun with this project. Thanks for your visit.
